The Sergeant's Mess (Provisional) of the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Abn) has commissioned international military artist Ken Dewar of Fish Creek Military Prints to depict the men of the 3rd Battalion. In contrast to a world increasingly dependent upon technology, the painting portrays the soldiers honing the skills that set them apart: combat patrolling and weapons skill, elements of unconventional warfare, and infiltration specialities. The painting is reproduced in a limited edition of 400 fine art prints, individually signed by the artist. A special selection of 40 Artist's Proofs will be available to collectors.
